Three shots from my morning walk over the Middlewick Ranges in Colchester, a gorgeous golden misty and frosty landscape on this particular occasion. Numb fingers from the temperature but worth it to spend golden hour in relative peace and quite away from all but the earliest dog walkers.
I was greeted by a nicely defined fog bank with the first golden light piercing through to light up the frosty meadow. It's a shame that it seems likely that this lovely large piece of land will end up with 1000 new houses built all over it. Progress comes at a sad cost.
